Enjoy the Silence

During fashion week when I crashed the Seven after party at the Tribeca Grand Hotel, I was sharing the dance floor with my aforementioned man in a suit with boots when Enjoy The Silence came on and it was bliss. Favorite Depeche Mode song hands down. Below is the video for it. What is Dave wearing? The sunglasses are nice though. Crazy to watch this now.



I've been struggling on where to categorize Dave Gahan. In his early New Wave photos I used to think he was cute. He kind of carried that early 80's Johnny Depp look, only more early 80's New Wave gay. He kind of seems like he could be a sibling with Depp and Morrissey, but the least attractive of the three. I think it's because his face cuts too short. Very tiny. Wow this is vain I'll stop.



I think him younger is cuter: pre new wave influence...because look what happened to him and the rest of the band in the mid eighties:

oh oh its November already, and It's knots that I'm turning 20 soon. I've been up all night distracting myself and thinking about my family, relationships and the city over and over and where they all stand right now. It's a big task.
